    Description

    This 1937-40 vintage token is inscribed "ARIZONA STATE TAX COMMISSION" around the state coat of arms on one side, and "TO MAKE CHANGE FOR CORRECT SALES TAX PAYMENT," and the number "1" on the other side. The number 1 side has a large line from a cracked die across the token at the bottom of the number.
    The token is in the condition shown in the photos, which is the most accurate description of its condition.
    It is made of brass and is 16mm or 5/8" in diameter.
