Vintage Old Antique Kansas State Sales Tax Token Coin KS 2 Mill

Description

Sales tax tokens were introduced in Kansas in 1937. By 1939 they were discontinued by the Governor, put in storage and sold for scrap in 1941 to aid with the war,
Kansas only issued two designs. Both tokens were a small metallic disk, one with a hole and one without.  The one with a hole was a one mill token and the other was a two mill token. This listing is for a two mill token.
