Features:
1. Ultra-quiet technology: StealthChop2 (ultra-quiet technology) can drive the motor to work in a very quiet condition, and can control the sound of the motor to be below 10dB, and the noise is much lower than the traditional current control method.
2. High dynamic chopper: SpreadCycle PWM chopper mode automatically configures a hysteresis decay function before slow and fast attenuators. The average current reflects the normal current of the configuration, and there will be no transition period when the sine wave crosses the zero point, which reduces the fluctuation of the current and torque, making the current waveform closer to the sine wave. Compared with the traditional constant chopper, the SpreadCycle PWM chopper Motors under wave mode control run much smoother and smoother.
3. Small heat generation: Compared with the TMC2100 stepper motor drive module, the TMC2208 drive module generates less heat. The heat generation effect of the TMC2208 at about 0.8A is equivalent to that of the 2100 at 0.5A, and can be used interchangeably with the TMC2100.
The TMC2208 drive step value is calculated according to 16 subdivisions, and the chip uses a differential algorithm to expand the 16 subdivisions to 256 subdivisions.
Tip: TMC2208 setting step value needs to be calculated according to the number of subdivisions you set. In order to achieve a quiet and smooth drive motor, the driver chip uses an interpolation algorithm to approximate the effect of 256 subdivisions. Don't care what algorithm the chip uses, as long as you know how many subdivisions you choose, and you can calculate the step value according to the subdivision you set.

Product Instructions:
1. When using on the printer control board, please keep the 3 jumper caps under the socket
2. The heat sink is directly attached to the PCB, pay attention to the direction of the heat sink, otherwise it will cause the heat sink and the pins to be connected together and cause a short circuit
3. The direction of the motor is opposite to that of 4988 and 8825. If you want to directly replace the 4988, please adjust the firmware or adjust the motor connection. The Lotto mainboard can directly set the motor direction in the touch screen.
Drive Current Algorithm and Regulation
1. Vref measures Gnd and the voltage at the middle end of the potentiometer.
2. Be sure not to connect the motor when measuring the voltage, otherwise the drive will be easily burned.
3. Connect the power supply when measuring the voltage, not just connect the USB power supply.
