    Description

    Original wooden wine box that originally contained 1 bottle of Taylor port wine.   The box has a hinged lid.   These are VERY rare, very few wines come in single bottle boxes so you dont see these come up every day.
    See item pictures for measurements, make sure the bottle you want to put in it will fit!   Different wine makers choose different wine bottle sizes and shapes, all normal 750ml wine bottles will not fit in this box!   Please note that Champagne bottles are usually larger and will most likely not fit.
    This is a light duty gift box, the hinges are simply pressed into the wood with small tabs.   While it will work great for a gift box, we do not know how long it will hold up for everyday use as it was not designed for that.   It would make a nice trinket box, just be aware of how it was constructed.   Other than the hinges and hasp, it seems to be a nice solid box.
