This was the 1st of 2 concerts the band were scheduled to perform at Budokan Hall in Tokyo during their short 1972 tour of Japan

, on Atlantic records and tapes was released just 11 months earlier.

The 1972 Japanese Led Zeppelin tour was the band's second and final tour of Japan.  This concert was the opening show of the tour.
I received this unused ticket directly from somebody in Japan several years ago
.  Unused tickets from either of the band's Japanese tours from 1971 or 1972 are nearly impossible to find.

SELLER'S NOTE
: I've included pictures of both the front and back of ticket.  Ticket measures approximately 2.75" by 8.70".  Ticket is still in very nice condition with little creasing.  Also, there is no writing, pinholes, or tape residue on ticket, either.
Item will be backed with cardboard and placed in plastic sleeve for protection prior to shipping.
