THIS UNIT DIRECTS THE SPEAKERS TOWARD BOTH THE DRIVER AND THE PASSENGER. IF YOU WILL NOTICE, THE FACE IS ANGLED DOWN ON OURS. THIS MAY NOT SEEM LIKE A BIG DEAL, BUT CONSIDER THAT ON ALMOST ALL OVERHEAD CONSOLES THE RADIO OR HEAD UNIT IS "FLAT MOUNTED"  THAT TYPE OF DESIGN MAKES IT A LITTLE ROUGH TO SEE THE READOUT ON THE HEAD UNIT.

UNIT IS DESIGNED TO HOLD UP TO 6.5" SPEAKERS (6 1/2") WITH JUST ABOUT ANY DEPTH (NOT INCLUDED)
THE CONSOLE HAS A SOFT RUBBER SURROUND THAT ONCE MOUNTED TO YOUR ROOF WILL COMPLETELY ENCAPSULATE THE UNIT
OVER ALL UNIT MEASUREMENTS: 5 1/2" TALL X 19 3/4" LONG X 13 3/4" WIDE
CONSOLE IS MADE OF DURABLE, TEXTURED THICK ABS PLASTIC WITH RUBBER SURROUND.
There is no top to this unit, it has to be mounted to a flat top and the rubber surround included will completely encapsulate this console to your roof.
