Carrol Boyes Reclining Man Bowl Signed & Numbered #1895 South African Metal Art

This sale is for a Limited Edition Salad Bowl and Reclining Man Stand by South African artist Carrol Boyes.
This iconic piece
was one of Carrol’s first truly sculptural pieces and was released as a limited edition. The
sculpted pewter man-base is inscribed with number 1895 and the "C Boyes S. Africa" mark. A dark epoxy resin powder-coated bowl rests on the base.
Carrol Boyes' work explores the synthesis between art and functionality and is skillfully handcrafted in South Africa. This will be a wonderful piece to own and treasure.
The figure is about 9 1/2" long  and 7" wide overall. The bowl is about 10 1/8" in diameter and 5 1/8" high. The set weighs about 4 1/2 pounds.
Both pieces are in excellent condition.
