We personally connected to each 1000R unit, and accessed a computer that was remotely connected to the 1000R using the AMIQDM-PS2 module.

This set
does not
include a AMIQDM-PS2, AMIQDM-USB or AMIQDM-VSN (SUN system) transmitter module. You will need to buy one of these AMIQDM modules, to plug it into the computer you need to access, then run a CAT5 cable from the AMIQDM module to the provided 1000R receiver. We do sell a complete sets of 1000R receivers and AMIQDM modules at our ebay store, under a different listing.
You can also use a AMIQ-PS2, AMIQ-USBor AMIQ-VSN (SUN system) KVM module to transmit the Video, mouse & keyboard signals, but not the Audio or serial port signals.
The addition of an LV1000R receiver unit allows you to add a second user to your LV1000P or LV1000U system up to 1000 feet away. By simply connecting a UTP cable between the Avocent LV1000R and the spare port on the receiver, your LV1000P/U system allows a second user to access the attached computer with the same features and benefits as the original including the unique AutoTuning feature. The Avocent LongView Extender (LV1000R-001) supports video resolutions up to 1600 x 1200. The recommended resolution setting at 1000 ft. is 1280 x 1024.
