Dmitriy Krasnopevtsev (1925-1995, Moscow)
Graduated at the Moscow Regional Art College and the Surikov State Art Institute in Moscow, 1955. Krasnopevtsev worked at Reklamfilm (state film advertising agency) for over 20 years. He became well known at the end of 1950s and the beginning of
the 1960s when he met G. Kostakis, the great pianist S. Richter and other collectors. The works of the artist have been widely exhibited and are represented in many public and private collections but most often at the Pushkin Museum in Moscow
